Magmortar Code – the Heated Secret Gift!
Hey, everyone! I’d just like to let you know (although this is a little overdue, again) that the Magmortar code is out!! You can enter it on Battle Revolution – here’s how:
- Go to Profile on the menu screen.
- Go to Self-Introduction.
- Instead of writing something about yourself, enter ‘B416-X4HT-VTWF’.
- Return to the Profile screen and press ‘OK’.
- Anna will say that you have unlocked the Heated Secret Gift, and that it is in your Shop menu, under Mystery Gifts, ready to be downloaded to your Diamond or Pearl.
- You will also get a rare Battle Pass background – the Silver Battle Pass.
The Magmortar is a female (does this bother you somehow at all??) at level 50, with Flamethrower, Psychic, Hyper Beam and Solarbeam, (which all play off of its incredible Special Attack stat) and it is holding a Charcoal – which makes its Flamethrower attack, paired with the fact that it is a Fire-type – 60 percent more powerful!

Extra Special Halloween Strategy!!!!
I’m going to be throwing in an extra-special Strategy Pokemon today, to prepare for Halloween! This Pokemon surely fits the spooky demeanor, with a visible ribcage! Ugh… Still, this Pokemon is a super-awesome Uber to have on your team, and will leave opponents shaking! If you’ve been reading my news, you’ll know that it’s the featured Pokemon of one of the myths in Canalave Library. It is in an Uber trio, and in analogy form: Spooky is to scary as Giratina is to Rayquaza. It will be up sometime today or tomorrow, so…
”Beware for descending wings of night, for thou shalt be forever cursed upon their sight!”
(and boy does this apply to the Strategy Pokemon!!!)
Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween and Quote of the Week
Well, in case I’m too busy on Wednesday… Happy Halloween!
I have started a new aspect of Pokemon Strategy: the Quote of the Week! It is one of the sidebar widgets, and will quote something said in the video games (especially D/P) or TV shows. It will be updated every Saturday from now on with a new quote. But does the old quote disappear, you ask? No, far from it! All the old quotes and their dates will be placed in comment form on a page called ‘Quote Archives’ so you can reminisce on the good old days.
Hope you like it!

Pokedex News
The Pokedex on Pokemon.com has been updated! It now shows the National Pokedex, however the Descriptions are not here yet. In other news, if anyone is coming to Cranberry K’s party (on Club Penguin), please tell me, as we need to know how much of a turnout there will be.

Computer Down
Sorry, but my computer has been down and my site was not able to load. I hope the delays haven’t caused any troubles! Anyway, the next Pokemon in the Pokemon Strategy section is the star of the 8th movie, and may be based on a wolf (due to its name and canine appearance), jackal (due to its canine appearance and also what I’m about to mention), or one of the Ancient Egyptian gods, Anubis (a person with the head of a jackal). It is equally strong in Attack and Special Attack, but, surprisingly, its Speed is relatively low, although the movie says otherwise!
It has grown quite popular, and is one of my favorite Pokemon. If you can guess what it is, count on seeing it soon as one of the featured Pokemon!!

Canalave Library Myths
Hi! While you’re waiting for me to finish the Strategy Pokemon, here’s a debate to discuss on StraTalk if you feel like it. In Canalave City Library in Diamond and Pearl, there are a lot of myths on the top floor. I have read and deciphered these:
“Sinnoh Region’s Mythology”: I believe this is about Shaymin, because it is the Gratitude Pokemon, and the myth also speaks of why Pokemon appear in tall GRASS. Shaymin just happens to be a Grass-type as well.
“Sinnoh’s Myth”: This (obviously) talks about the Legendary lake trio.
“Veilstone’s Myth”: I’m pretty sure this one’s about Giratina, for three reasons – one, it happens near Veilstone, where south of which Giratina in Turnback Cave lies. Two, the guy, after finding the sword, is kind of rebelling from humans, as Giratina does (the Renegade Pokemon). You can also see Giratina’s sympathy (not a very common sight for an evil-ish Pokemon!!) when it talks to him, so in a way it relates to him. Three, the defenition for ‘Turnback Cave’ is ‘a cavern where dimensions are distorted’. I’m guessing that is ‘the place beyond seeing’.
“The Original Story”: If you know about Arceus, this one’s pretty easy. Once upon a time, Arceus hatched from an egg. It created Dialga and Palkia, and then the Trio. Together they created the Pokemon world, and they all took to sleep.
“A Horrific Myth”: This is about the Legendary Being Trio’s powers. If Uxie opens its eyes, all your memories will be wiped. If you touch Mesprit, all of your emotions will drain away in three days. (Hmm… I wonder if Cyrus touched it? Or was the old lady in Sunyshore City right, and he just randomly liked playing with robots (the Regis…?)?) If you hurt Azelf, in five days you will be unable to move.
“Sinnoh Folk Stories”: These appear to just be random stories.
But the only one I don’t understand… is “Sinnoh Myth”. I’m guessing that the first two ???s are Cresselia and then Darkrai, but it seems a little unlikely. And still, who is the Pokemon that controls happiness, Master ??? ? If anyone has a hypothesis, please post it in the StraTalk section!
