I’VE RETURNED WITH A VENEGEANCE!!!!!!!!!

You’ll never believe this, but I’m alive.

I’m really sorry for not being active for, what, a year now? Probably longer.

Anyway, I’m not promising anything about being SUPER ACTIVE, 24/7. But I’ll post at least once a month, maybe every two weeks. Sorry, but it’s better than nothing, right?

Now, for a quick FAQ for questions asked while I was gone:

Q: WHERE WERE YOU?!?!?!?
A: I got a life. =D No, just kidding. School was the main thing to blame for my disappearance, though I admit I did kind of… *cough* … forget about *cough* this site… *cough* *cough* … sorry! Please don’t kill me!

Q: WHERE’S THE FIFTH GENERATION POKEMON?!?!?
A: THERE IS NONE!!!!!! It turns out that the mysterious figure was NOTCHED-EAR PICHU (Gizamimi Pichu). This is NOT a fifth generation Pokemon! It was an old post, and at the time it seemed as if it would be kind of like Lugia in Movie 2, Latios and Latias in Movie 5, Munchlax in Movie 7, and Lucario, Weavile, and Bonsly in Movie 8 – they’d make a guest appearance. This was incorrect. The alleged “5th gen Pokemon,” or “Pokemon B,” was Shaymin Sky Form.

Q: OMG WERE DO I GET ARUSEUSS!!!11
A: You don’t. Unless you are: A) living in Japan, where they are having an Arceus event (a Lv. 100 Arceus with the moves Judgement, Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, and Shadow Force – the latter three are unlearnable except by this event) to celebrate the 12th movie, or B) using an Action Replay. See below for my opinion on the AR.

Q: Can you give me an Action Replay code for _________?
A: Let me make this clear: I DO NOT USE HACKING DEVICES OF ANY KIND. This includes ARs, Gamesharks, and Pokesav. Personally, I think hacking makes a game “unfun” and boring, but I can see why people might want to hack. Don’t worry, it’s okay if you do, just ask about it SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Q: Is Pokemon Crater back?/HEY GUYS! POKEMON CRATER IS BACK!! GO TO THIS SITE!!
A: Pokemon Crater, to the extent of my knowledge, is gone. Other sites have popped up, such as Pokemon Indigo and Pokemon Net, but they are different from Pokemon Crater. DON’T BELIEVE ANYTHING ABOUT POKEMON CRATER BEING BACK. If it really and truly does, I’ll let you guys know.

Q: How do you do/get/find ____________ in Pokemon _________ Version/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon _______/etc.?
A: Since this seems to be the most common question, I will TRY to do something about it. I will TRY to post one secret “cheat” a day during the rest of this summer. The key word being try. So to accomplish this, I’m going to have to stop all other projects on this site over the summer. But for now, check out POKEMON SECRETS every day for a new secret!!!!!!

Q: Where did the pages: D/P Pokedex, D/P Walkthrough, Fun Stuff, and Contests go??
A: As I said, I’m stopping all the projects, which means deleting those pages for now. Sorry about that.

Q: Do you have a Youtube account?
A: Not YET… >=D MWAHAHA!!! Yes, I’ll be getting one soon. Be patient! When I get one, the first video series I’ll post will be a PMD Walkthrough, then a PMD3 Walkthrough, and finally a few Platinum battles! I might do other stuff such as AMVs and non-Pokemon related videos too!

PS. I’ve gotten a LOT better at competitive battling. As in, I finally understand what the term means. And SubSalac, Phazing, and all that good stuff.

PPS. I got to the second round of one of the Pokemon Video Game Championships tournaments, using Rain Dance and NOT TRICK ROOM!!!!!!!!! …then promptly lost to the guy who won 2nd. -_- Darn Smeargles. (And I decided at the last minute not to bring my Sleep Talking Swampert, too…) I’ll post the battle video number later.

Meanwhile another Senior friend of mine got to the finals by facing noobs the whole way through, and Kyogreky’s little brother, in Juniors, got into the finals with Feraligatr, Salamence, Garchomp, and Dragonite. And I think Salamence knew Rock Smash, too. But of course he was pitted against the only good team in Juniors – a hail team. Yeah. Blizzard FTL. And Kyogreky herself unfortunately lost in the first round to some more tough competition…

OH WELL!! WHO CARES ABOUT THAT, THE TOURNEY WAS AWESOME!!!

Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of Time/Explorers of Darkness

I come bearing good news!!

Mystery Dungeon 2 will be released on April 20, 2008!! Yaaaaay!

The official site, quiz, and all that good stuff opened on Pokemon.com, so check it out!

(I got a Mudkip – as always – on the quiz! Not only is it my second-fave, but I seem to have a lot in common with it or something! Maybe it’s just luck…who knows?)

A new contest will be opening soon, speaking of which. About – you guessed it – PMD2!

As well, Ultimate Pokemon Strategy is almost done being renovated and should be finished pretty soon.

Giratina: Origin Form and Contest Closed

Hi!

Well, I got more information on Giratina’s Origin form. This is what it looks like:

This, in my opinion, is a perfect second form of Giratina (although it looks a little odd). Giratina is based on a Basilisk, and there are three interpretations of a basilisk. One is a monstrous lizard with 6 legs. That would be Giratina: normal form. The other is an enormous serpent without legs (like the one in Harry Potter). That’s Giratina: origin form. But what about the last one? Well… the last one is an evil chicken with magical powers. (I’m not kidding!) I believe Giratina would kill you if you tried to eat it for dinner. However, I’m wondering if Giratina – in either form – has the usual basilisk powers of making people turn to stone/get paralyzed by its gaze?

As well, when I checked for Pokemon on the GTS on Friday, there was not one to be seen, unfortunately. So the contest is now closed. No prizes (Master Balls, Sacred Ash, Thunderstone)were awarded. I will re-run the contest next month, as well as a new contest to celebrate Darkrai’s release when it is released on Diamond/Pearl.

Also, you may have noticed I changed the tagline and header temporarily. You lieks? (countdown ’til the 24th…)

And HOW is that different than ‘Giratina’s Flower Garden and the Flying Potato Show’?? Shaymin is practically MADE of flowers, and I swear those blinky lighty things on Regigigas are really food colored potatoes!!!! (or ‘The Three Little Dragons and the Big Bad Hedgehog + a robot to boot’, The evil dinosaur who lived in a boquet with three floating kitty cats who lived in lakes but then they got kicked out by a bazillion magikarp and a politoed named Bob but wait why would cats live in water? anyway then the evil dinosaur… wait the cats don’t live with him palkia and darkrai and dialga do… i think… well anyway this movie is about an evil dinosaur and a blue giraffe, pink/purple bear thing and creepy floating black this in tutu’… I think you get the point.)

Oh well… at least we got the Ken Sugimori official Shaymin artwork.

There is also news of Giratina having two forms: one is its normal form, and the other is the one it uses to go between dimensions. And Ash and friends just happen to go to another dimension – Shaymin’s – with the help of Giratina. Is it speculation, or is this a clue?

Anyway, Ultimate Pokemon Strategy will be re-opening in a little bit. Thanks for your patience.

BREAKING NEWS TO MOVIE FANS!!!! see bottom of post

Yesterday, I thought that on Darkrai.com, my computer was acting up when I saw this. But I surfed the web a bit, and found this:

So it was true after all. The day Darkrai.com aired, if you were to go to it and click on ’Video Game’, there would be this error message, probably from one of the makers of darkrai.com to another.

 Also, Pokemon Strategy’s first contest, the GTS contest, has its rules up. A brief recap: You can win the 100% guaranteed catch Pokeball: the Master Ball, the ultimate healing item which can heal all party Pokemon to full health and only available through a Nintendo event: the Sacred Ash, or a hard-to-find Thunderstone, which is key to evolving Pikachu into Raichu and Eevee  into Jolteon! HEADLINE NEWS!!! 10th MOVIE: Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai to air February 24 on Cartoon Network (US date and channel)!!!!! Another thing you might want to note is that the Fried Dynamite people said “see a clip of Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai months before it hits theaters”. Months before it hits theaters. Key fact: “It hits theaters”!! Does this mean I was wrong? Is the rising popularity of Pokemon and the awesome quality and plot of the newest movie enough to bring Pokemon back to the REALLY big screen? Best of all, does that mean we get the legendary Eigakan, AKA ‘Movie Darkrai’ – with Roar of Time and Spacial Rend???? We’ll just have to find out! Stay posted!

New Stuff + Contests Page!

Hi!

• Well, Darkrai’s release is getting closer by the minute. With the Great Encounters prereleases in the first week of February, Darkrai is due to make its appearance within two weeks. (How would the judges explain if someone got a Darkarai card in their booster pack? )
• I am getting into the TCG and TFG more, although I still stink at it.
• I am starting a Contests page! The first contest is:

GTS CONTEST (#1): Put any Pokemon on my Top 10 list, nicknamed ‘Pkmnstrtgy’, up for trade on the GTS looking for any 1st or 4th gen. starter. If you are one of the three lucky winners, you will receive that Pokemon from me! It will be holding the Evolution item of your choice or even a Master Ball!
